Oh well. Speilberg's a genius. Film or digital, makes no diff to me. Indy 4 will rule, but I still think they should replace Harrison Ford, though...

Which actually opens a whole new topic: Do you think they could have a movie that is just as good with a new actor replacing the aging Ford? This goes for all movies, like the Bond movies, etc. Is there actually someone that is the 'best' for the role, and anyone else is less qualified? Or are actors relatively interchangable?

If the new film is written to be like the others with Harrison Ford swinging on vines and beating people up it will be a complete farce. However if it is written from the point of view of an Indiana Jones that is now much older and unable to do those things it could be very interesting.

Apparently Frank Darabont is writing it so there may be hope.

I've heard a RUMOUR that Hugh Jackman may be in Indy 4. Although it is believed that he will play Indy's son....which may work quite well.

In modern day Indiana Jones is about 100 years old - a very old man... all the Indy Jones movies & TV shows are all about him remembering his adventures...

with this in mind... Harrison Ford can always play Indy - but his rope swinging days are numbered!

Who could play a younger Indy?
Well River Phoenix did play him in The Last Crusade...

But we all love Colin Farrell on this forum - so if Harrison ain't doing it - then my money is on Farrell!

Yes River Phoenix could play the part but he's been dead for nine years.

I'm quite looking forward to Indy 4. I have a gut feeling that it's going to overtake the other three films as the best one. If this is Spielberg's last movie then he's going out with a bang (and taking all the oscars with him).
